Self-concept is about how you see yourself. Are you a serious businessperson or a laid back scientist? What have you experienced before in life? Did you have a lot of challenges early in life or did you have everything handed to you? What are your dreams in life and where do you see yourself in the future, do you have a family or are you making a career? 
Then you are thinking about these things you should have a healthy view on it and yourself. How you experience this kind of thinking can be hard for some people and take time to understand and identify one’s goals in life. A lot of people just follow the flow, get an education, get kids, work, get old. But thinking out of the box and finding out if you have the same goals as people around you or if you want something else in life can be hard and take a lot of work with oneself.
