Abstract
This article will provide insight into Micro-management in project management, especially what the drawbacks to micro-management are to projects and how to avoid micro-management in project management as a project leader.
What is Micromanagement: Micromanagement is a style of management where a manager or team leader closely controls every aspect of a project. This kind of management can have several impacts on all four perspectives of project management.
Why: Everybody knows the term and that its can have serisuos effects on many factors at a workplace. In the book “My way or the highway: The micromanagement survival guide.” By Harry E. Chambers from 2009, he explains that “79% have experienced micromanagement from their current or past managers.” (Page 31) Chambers, Harry E.
