Total Quality Management (TQM) is a Quality Management System (QMS) where a creation of a culture of improvement results in continuously improved abilities to deliver quality products and service to costumers. Total Quality Management was popular in the early nineties, but today the use of TQM is not too widespread due to other management systems such as Lean Manufacturing.
