The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is an effective tool for project management. This technique is based on decomposing a project into hierarchical deliverables. Each one of the deliverables corresponds to a specific outcome that must be accomplished to complete the project. Every descending level includes the deliverables that must be carried out in order to fulfil the outcome located in the level right above. The subdivision simplifies the project and makes it more approachable.
