Note: this first part is about the contribution, and will not be included in the final version. Contribution to the Concept Box: Impact (sustainability) This article will add to the Concept Box on Purpose > Realizing impact > Impact (sustainability), as was on your wish list, and Purpose > Connecting the dots > (Sustainable) Project Management. I might take a bit of inspiration in what has been written on ‘Sustainability in Project and Portfolio Management’, but I would like to structure it quite differently, because:

  1. The sources in that article are mainly not academic.
  2. It is not up-to-date with the newest understandings of sustainability, and central corporate sustainability evaluation tools like ESG and Science Based Targets.
  3. The red thread and overarching purpose of the article is not very clear.
  4. I would like to frame it around Project and Program management, as I see program management as most relevant for an overarching corporate sustainability strategy, which I think will become more and more requested.

From now on is the article outline:

This Wiki article will describe tools for managing a program of projects with a focus on holistic environmental, social and economic sustainability. The purpose will be to give project managers and decision makers an overview of the thinking principles and tools available to successfully increase holistic, globally oriented for projects and programs. It will describe the most cutting-edge ways of defining, implementing, and assessing corporate sustainability.
