"Cross functional teams are groups of people from various departments in an organization—such as marketing, product development, quality assurance, sales and finance—who work together to achieve a common goal. Why multidisciplinary teams?
In order for the team to view the full picture, cross functional teams remove the "silos" of a typical organizational structure. Challenges working within multidisciplinary teams
