Introduction

Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) and Critical Path Method (CPM) are two methodologies based on the same philosophy. The result of this assumption is both these methodologies to be considered as a single method. In this article which is an assignment for the course Advanced Engineering Project, Program and Portfolio Management of Technical University of Denmark, initially the history is going to be recorded. Then, the chapter of application will follow. In the same section an example will be provided to make more meaningful the section of application. The chapter of advantages comes next while the limitations follow. The article will close with references to related articles of the same assignment which are considered to be related to the topic of the current article and references which were used for this article to be written.
