Abstract
This article is an application oriented in-depth description of the Project Network Diagram tool (PND tool). Firstly, the article will explain and visualize the necessary processes one should work through, to arrive at the PND. These processes involve the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and a time-estimate on the different bodies of the WBS. After arriving at the PND, the article will explain how to find slack areas, so the project manager will get a clearer vision of how to prioritize resources for the project. Finally, it explains how the critical path of the project is deduced from the PND.
