Outline

This article will be about Belbin's Team Roles, and i want to update the following article: Creating effective teams with the use of Belbin's Team Roles ( http://wiki.doing-projects.org/index.php/Creating_effective_teams_with_the_use_of_Belbin%27s_Team_Roles )

I've read the article mentioned above, and feel like it could be improved. The start is fairly good, but in section 3 and 4 it is not as fulfilling as the rest. I whish it was more focused on application, advantages and disadvantages. Please note that the part in "Bold" is from the old article

Abstract

This article aims to describe and provide information regarding how and why Belbin's Team Roles can be utilized in Project Management. It will explore both the advantages and disadvantages that can arise when building a team while utilizing Belbin's Team Role model for team dynamics.

First the article will elaborate further about Belbin's Team Role theory that was developed by Dr. Meredith Belbin and explains nine different roles that can be adopted within a team. It is important to notice that not every team requires nine people since most people will possess two or three Belbin Team Roles. Meaning that it should be possible to cover all nine roles with a team of three people.

Secondly the article will identify which team roles that often are combined with each other, such as "Resource Investigator" and "Teamworker" etc.

Lastly, possible advantages and disadvantages while utilizing this method will be analyzed and explored.
