Kahneman - Two Thinking Systems

Desicion making is something we all face everyday. It can be everything from when you want to move your foot in order to take a step to the important decision to use the right material in order to build the bridge in a safe way in order to not risk any damage to other humans. Daniel Kahneman discovered the two operating system of our brains; fast thinking and slow thinking. The discovery of system 1 and 2 shows that the two types of thinking will arrive at different end results with the same input data. Descision-making is crucial in project, program and portfolio management and therefore is Kahneman groundbreaking discovery essential to understand how we as human acts. This article will focus on the two thinking system in reliance to project management.
