Risk Burn Down Chart

Summary/Motivation:

This tool was on the wishlist and has not been written about before on this Wiki. In our project it might be relevant to look at risk management, and here the Risk Burn Down Chart might come in handy. A lot more work will have to be put into the specifics of the article, but I believe the description for what the article should include, matches very well with writing about a tool like RBD Chart. I have never used the tool before, so it will be very interesting to dig into. Below I have tried to specify the structure of the article a bit more in relation to RBD chart, but I will need to do some more research into the tool to write an abstract/summary of the article at this point in time.

Wiki article structure:

Abstract: This will probably be the last section that will be written, since it needs to contain a full overview of the article.

Big idea: Here the general purpose of the tool will be described. Since it is connected to Risk Management, it might be touched a bit upon.

Application: Here I will describe how to use the tool in a project. Both going into how to actually make a RBD Chart, but also how to read it and apply it as a project manager. Writing about in what context it makes sense to apply it or what type of project it proves to be very effective.

Limitations: I will write about strengths and weaknesses of the tool. When the tool should be used and not used. How it relates to the standards of project management. I will try to add other similar tools, that can be used instead of or in addition to the RBD Chart.
